An even more complete experience awaits you
We are evolving to provide you an increasingly innovative experience offering more options for earning and redeeming miles and a simpler process for achieving an Elite Category status.
All announced changes will take effect on January 1, 2025. The new forms of accrual and multipliers for Qualifying Points related to flights will apply to segments flown starting on that date, regardless of when the tickets were issued. Additionally, flights redeemed using miles plus money will not earn LATAM Pass Miles or Qualifying Points.
The changes will take effect on January 1, 2025.
2. If I currently belong to the Gold Plus category or during 2024 I reach that category, will my category change in January 2025?No. If your Gold Plus status is valid until March 31, 2025, or March 31, 2026, you will maintain the category until that date and enjoy all its benefits. However, during the 2025 qualification period, members will no longer be able to qualify for this category.
3. What happens if I qualify for an Elite Category by meeting the Qualifying Segments goal in 2024?In that case, you will belong to the category for which you qualified until March 31, 2026, and can enjoy all its benefits until that date. However, during the 2025 qualification period, members will not earn Qualifying Segments and will, therefore, be unable to qualify for Elite Categories through this means.
4. How can I redeem additional baggage with LATAM Pass Miles? You can redeem miles for additional baggage only during the ticket redemption process. It is not possible to redeem baggage before or after you have redeemed the ticket for which the baggage is intended.
5. If my ticket was redeemed with miles plus cash and I purchase an additional service, will it earn LATAM Pass Miles and Qualifying Points? No, you will only be able to earn LATAM Pass Miles and Qualifying Points for the additional service purchased if the totality of your ticket has been paid with money.
6. How many miles and Qualifying Points will I earn for purchasing additional services for my trip? You will earn the same amount of miles and Qualifying Points per dollar spent on additional services as you earn for the value of your ticket, excluding taxes and fees. Points and Qualifying Points will not be earned on redeemed tickets. Starting April 1, 2025, this benefit will be classified as a Bonus LATAM Pass and could be activated once you reach 6,000 Qualifying Points, which you can enjoy throughout the year. However, from January 1 to March 31, 2025, this benefit will be temporarily and automatically available to all LATAM Pass members.
7. If my ticket was redeemed with miles plus cash and I purchase an additional service, will it earn LATAM Pass Miles and Qualifying Points?Yes, you will earn the same number of miles and Qualifying Points for each dollar spent on the additional service purchased as you will earn for the net value of your ticket, excluding fees and taxes.
